Overview
Cinebros Production is a Chittagong-based video production company founded in 2021 by two cinematographer brothers. They specialize in marketing, content creation, and visual storytelling — helping brands bring their ideas to life through impactful videos, eye-catching graphics, and innovative campaigns.
The website was built entirely using Custom PHP without any framework or CMS. Every page was hand-coded from scratch to create a cinematic, visually-driven experience that perfectly reflects the creative identity of a video production brand.
Goal: Build a portfolio-driven website that showcases Cinebros' diverse work categories, attracts new clients, and establishes their brand as a leading creative production house in Bangladesh.
Key Features: 10 individual work category pages (Govt. Projects, Corporate, Documentary, Walkthrough, Turf Promotional, Event Promo, Food & Products, Educational, Promotional OVC, Podcast), Team page, Clients showcase, Partner section, and a fully responsive cinematic design.
Challenges
Designing a website for a video production company required a cinematic, visually-rich experience that reflects the brand's creative identity — while keeping the site fast, responsive, and easy to navigate across all 10 work categories.
Cinematic Design Without Slowing Load Speed:
- Challenge: Video production websites are typically image and media-heavy, which can significantly hurt page load performance and SEO scores.
- Solution: Used WebP image format, lazy loading for all media, optimized thumbnails for work categories, and clean CSS animations instead of heavy JavaScript libraries to maintain cinematic feel with fast performance.
10 Work Category Pages:
- Challenge: Building 10 separate work category pages (Govt, Corporate, Documentary, etc.) each with unique content, thumbnails, and embedded video links — without code repetition.
- Solution: Built a reusable PHP template system for work category pages — one clean template handles all categories dynamically, keeping the codebase lean and maintainable.
Video Embedding & Performance:
- Challenge: Embedding YouTube/video content on multiple pages without causing layout shift or slowing down the initial page load.
- Solution: Used lazy-loaded iframe embeds with custom thumbnail previews — videos only load when the user clicks to play, keeping the initial load fast and CLS score near zero.
Brand Identity Through Design:
- Challenge: Communicating the cinematic, creative nature of the brand through web design while maintaining professionalism for corporate clients.
- Solution: Used a dark, cinematic color palette with bold typography, full-width hero sections, and carefully selected imagery that immediately conveys the brand's visual storytelling expertise.
Results / Conclusion
The Cinebros website successfully launched as a fast, fully responsive, and visually compelling platform for one of Chittagong's growing video production companies. The custom PHP architecture delivers clean, lightweight code with excellent performance. The website now showcases 10 work categories, highlights the team's expertise, and features an impressive client portfolio. The cinematic design has been well-received by the client and their audience, helping Cinebros establish a strong digital presence in the Bangladesh video production market.
